SBDC Workshop — How to Set Up Your Company on Quickbooks 101
Learn how to set up your company books on Quickbooks Pro using the case example of a service company.  The instructor will take you through the set up template for this service company and will cover the chart of accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, entering your check register and checkbook reconciliation.  Very basic accounting will be covered, but enough for you to set up your own books.  Double entry accounting will be demonstrated as entries are made.  Attendees may bring a laptop with Quickbooks installed (though this is not necessary.)  The instructor will try to answer questions or problems you may have already encountered in setting up your own books.  Please note, though, that this is an introductory class and will mainly cover the service company case study. Taught by Sylvia Chaney, C.P.A.  Cost $50 or $40 for Chamber members.
