2007 SPARK Awards — Fueling
the Fire of Small Business In Boulder County
The Boulder Chamber is currently accepting
nominations for the 2007 Spark Awards. These awards
will honor small businesses in our community that
have fueled the fires of small business success..
All nominees will be honored at the Spark Awards
Luncheon held in conjunction with the Business to
Business EXPO on April 5th at the Omni Interlocken
Hotel and Resort.
Criteria includes:
- Must be a current Boulder Chamber
member
- Must be in business for 3 years
or longer
- Must employee 25 or less employees
Applications are available at the Chamber or online
at www.boulderchamber.com.
You may nominate your own company or send an application
to a company you would like to have nominated. If
you have questions, please contact alice.swanson@boulderchamber.com .
Deadline is January 15, 2007.
Boulder AlphaGraphics Recognized
for Outstanding Growth
Stephen Larghi, owner of the Boulder AlphaGraphics
was recognized with a special award for sales growth
by the Alphgraphics Network. Larghi received the
Sales Growth Award, which is based on achievement
of a minimum of 25% sales growth over the previous
year, as well as being recognized for achieving sale
milestones during the past fiscal year. AlphaGraphics
, located at 3193 Walnut, has been part of the local
community since 2002 and offers a complete range
of products and services, including design, digital,
offset and large format printing; personalized marketing;
mailing and digital archiving services to meet the
needs of its business and consumer customers.
A New/Returning Staff Addition!
Many of you remember Crystal Lewellen, who was with
the Chamber for over 4 years. Crystal and her husband
moved to California a little over a year ago. We
were sorry to see her leave… but the good
news is, they're back! Crystal will be rejoining
the staff in the role of Membership Services Manager.
We are thrilled to utilize her new experience (she
has worked with a Chamber in California) and her
knowledge of our business community .
